How much should you lift?

A meta analysis recently looked at the differences between weight lifting regiments to determine the best way to train. Results showed that a single set workout was the same as a multiset workout in terms of developing maximum strength. However, multi set workouts (the authors compared 5, 3 and 1 set routines) still are required to gain muscle size.
